On day 14, your card is charged $4.99 and Premium continues monthly. We email you 3 days before the charge — and any time during the trial, you can cancel from the billing portal with no charge.
?Why card-required for a free trial?
Because being upfront about what happens matters more than removing friction. You see the full price, the exact charge date, and a clear cancel button from day 1. No surprises is the contract.
?Can I keep using the free account if I cancel?
Yes — your free account continues forever. You lose access to Premium-only features (age-banded discussion prompts, Money As You Grow lens, Take Action cards, archive search), but the daily briefing, watchlist, family setup, and bookmarks remain free.
?Is the trial available again after I cancel?
